THe downer ex-govie - Full Renovation
Michael and Mel loved the location and the house, but needed it to be more functional for their growing family. On their list of desires was a modern, open layout, more natural light, a larger kitchen and bathroom, and a complete facelift across the house. This was achieved on all fronts, all within the existing footprint of the building.
1980’s Inner north modernisation
Simon and Sarah had recently purchased a large 1980s 5 bedroom home that was showing its age and approached me with a simple brief - “help us make this feel like a brand new home”. To add to my challenge they also had a baby on the way so wanted to be in and settled before their newest arrival.
INNER NORTH Open plan Duplex
Victoria and Mark have requested an open plan living space on the ground floor of in their two storey duplex. This involves removing all internal weight bearing walls and replacing with steel support beams. The open plan feel will be extended by installing large glass doors that lead onto the backyard deck (again, with the use of steel support beams). Finally the entire house will receive a full makeover and the owners moved in just before Christmas.
